This policy describes the public Vericode website operated by Vericode Inc. (“Vericode,” “we”). It matches how this version of the site actually works.
Who we are
Vericode Inc., 548 Market St, PMB 29481, San Francisco, CA 94104, United States. Privacy requests: [email protected].
What we collect on the marketing site
Typical hosting and analytics-style data may include pages viewed, timestamps, coarse location derived from IP by the host, and browser metadata. We do not run a first-party analytics product in this repository. If the deployment host (see below) records request logs, those logs are under that host’s terms.
The contact form collects name, email, topic, and message. In this version the form is validated in the browser and is not sent to a mail server. Do not submit secrets. If we later wire the form to email, we will update this policy.
Code you paste in the workspace
Analysis runs in your browser session. We do not write snippets to a Vericode database. Closing the tab discards the paste unless you copy it elsewhere. Your account record (email, plan, usage) is stored on this device so you stay signed in.
Accounts and checkout
Creating an account stores your name, email, and password on this device so you can sign back in. Checkout activates a paid plan on that account. Card numbers are not kept after you subscribe.
Cookies
We do not set advertising cookies. The host or Next.js may set a cookie required to operate the site (for example a session or load-balancer cookie). You can block cookies in your browser; the marketing pages should still render.
Hosting
The site is designed to run on Vercel or any Node host that can serve a Next.js app. Those providers process request data as independent controllers or processors under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to processing. Email [email protected]. Because this version stores almost nothing on our side, there may be no account record to delete. We will still confirm what we can see in host logs if those are available to us.
Children
The service is for adults who write software. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes
We will post updates on this page with a new date. Material changes to production analysis will be called out.
